APPRAISALS + IDENTIFICATION
Like art itself, appraisals are personal. Variables such as the number of items to be appraised, the amount of documentation and research required, and the intended use of the appraisal make each different. Every individual appraisal is designed to meet the client's personal needs and specific legal requirements.
All of Artistic Eye's appraisals are confidential and conducted with the highest ethical conduct, professional standards and methodological use of evaluation. Appraisals are written to conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) as set forth by The Appraisal Foundation and to the more stringent standards dictated by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) Report Writing Standard and Code of Ethics.
Appraisals include detailed property description and illustrations, evaluation justification, procedures and definition summary, as well as a certification and qualifications of the appraiser. Dr. Hammond is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Personal Property / Fine Arts with the American Society of Appraisers.
